BLUE BELL, Pa. - The Northampton women's basketball team outscored Montgomery 56 to 14 in the second half to pull away from a 9 point halftime advantage and earn a 90-39 victory on Tuesday night at Bach Arena.
"I thought were a little sloppy in the first half," commented veteran mentor
Art Wolfe, "we came out of the locker room more focused in the second half and really dug in defensively, which created a number of offensive opportunities."
Zeniyah Sanders scored 16 points to lead six Spartans in double figures;

Asia Morton (10) and
Tiana Harris (10).
Lauren Thompson added 10 rebounds and a career high 10 assists as Northampton improved to 13-6 overall, 9-1 in Region XIX and 9-0 in conference play. Thompson's 10 assists ranks third all-time for a single game in Northampton history.
Montgomery falls to 6-10 overall, 4-9 in Region XIX and 4-5 in conference play.
Northampton travels to Sewell, NJ on Saturday to face Rowan College at Gloucester County at 12pm.
