Walker's 31 Leads Ocean over Northampton

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Anthony Walker scored 31 points and grabbed 9 rebounds to lead Ocean County College to a 89-62 victory over Northampton on Thursday evening at the Arthur L. Scott Center.

Walker finished 12 of 23 from the field and 6 of 7 from the line as Ocean improved to 8-9 overall.

"Anthony Walker was a difference maker tonight," commented Spartan Head Coach Brennan McCarthy, "we didn't have anyone that could match his athleticism or energy."

Ocean shot 46.5% from the field (33 of 71) for the game, while the Spartans struggled at 38% (27 of 71).  Derek Kulp led Northampton with 15 points and 11 rebounds, while Justin Escobar and Josh Coleman each chipped in with 14 points.

Northampton, now 8-11 overall and 7-8 in Region XIX, travels to Widener University on Saturday to face Delaware County Community College at 12pm.
