Box Score NANTICOKE, Pa. - The Northampton men's basketball team opened the semester with a 95-64 victory over Luzerne County Community College on Tuesday evening at James T. Atherton Gymnasium.  
Six Spartans were in double figures, as Northampton jumped out to a 18 point halftime lead and cruised to the 31 point victory.  
Tyerell Mann (East Stroudsburg, PA /Notre Dame - East Stroudsburg ) led all scorers with 25 points, including a 4 for 6 performance from behind the arc, while the team combined to shoot 10 of 20 from 3-point range. The Spartans shot 60% from the field, led by 
Eric Caldera (East Stroudsburg, PA /East Stroudsburg South  ) with 11 points, 
Alquinton McNeil (Northampton, PA/Northampton ) 11, 
Justin Kusiappouh (East Stroudsburg, PA /East Stroudsburg North ) 11, 
Juan Perez-Jones (Morrisville, PA /Pennsbury ) 10 and 
Bryson Walton (Allentown, PA /William Allen ) 10.  Walton added 11 rebounds, while 
Edwin Lopez (East Stroudsburg, PA /Stroudsburg ) and 
Joe Cartagena (East Stroudsburg, PA /East Stroudsburg North ) each hauled down 9 rebounds. 
The victory moves Northampton to 7-8 overall, 5-8 in Region XIX and 5-5 in EPAC play. The Spartans had defeated Luzerne 82-80 on November 10th in Bethlehem. 
Luzerne falls to 5-9 overall and 5-7 in conference play. 
The Spartans return to action on Saturday when they host the Community College of Philadelphia at 3pm in an EPAC match-up.
