Box Score SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. - The Northampton men's basketball team lost in overtime to Lehigh Carbon Community College, 84-78, on Thursday night at Berrier Hall, falling to 3-3 overall and 1-1 in Region XIX. 

Northampton trailed 68-67 with 11 seconds remaining in regulation, before forcing overtime. 

Tyerell Mann (East Stroudsburg, PA /Notre Dame - East Stroudsburg ) and Jerrel Burke (Morrisville, PA/Pennsbury ) each scored 24 points to lead the Spartans, while Isiah Hinton-Gray (Allentown, PA/William Allen ) added 9 points. 

"We just didn't make plays when we needed to ... either on the offensive end or the defensive side of the ball," commented Head Coach Brennan McCarthy, "credit LCCC they made some big plays ... our guys need to learn that they need to be ready to play every night ... our effort is not consistent right now."

Dotte Brown, who was averaging 24.1ppg, scored 38 points to lead the Cougars, including 6 3-pointers and an 8 for 8 effort at the line. 

The win moves Lehigh Carbon to 2-6 overall and 2-0 in Region XIX. 

The Spartans return to action on Tuesday November 22nd when they host Johnson College at 7pm.
