BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's basketball team won its 4th consecutive game, downing Luzerne County Community College, 93-23, on Tuesday evening at the Arthur L. Scott Center. 
Kye Adams (East Stroudsburg, PA/E. Stroudsburg South ) led five Spartans in double figures with 17 points, while 
Dom Moser (Easton, PA/Easton ), 
Katie Alvarez (Allentown, PA /Dieruff) and 
Laura Sweger (Elizabethville, PA /Upper Dauphin ) each had 15 and 
Nakia Rogers (Bushkill, PA/E. Stroudsburg North ) added 14.  Alvarez had a double-double grabbing 10 rebounds as Northampton outrebounded Luzerne 64 to 23. 
Northampton's defense forced the Trailblazers into 34 turnovers and limited them to 12% shooting from the floor (5 for 43). "We struggled to shoot it in the first half," quipped Head Coach 
Tara Belfield, "but I thought our defense did a good job shutting down their shooters and forcing them into turnovers."
The win moves Northampton to 6-2 overall and 5-0 in Region XIX. 
Luzerne falls to 1-6 overall and 1-3 in Region XIX.  The Trailblazers are now 0-9 all-time vs. Northampton since joining the NJCAA. 
The Spartans are home again on Thursday night when they host Montgomery County Community College at 6pm.
