Box Score LINCROFT, NJ - The Northampton men's basketball team battled all afternoon, but in the end came up just short, falling to Brookdale Community College, 65-57, on Saturday afternoon at Collins Arena. 

The Jersey Blues led at halftime 32-28 and the game remained tight throughout the second half, with Brookdale up just four, at 61-57, with 1:30 remaining, but the Spartans could get no closer down the stretch.

Jerrel Burke (Morrisville, PA/Pennsbury ) led Northampton with 21 points, while Juan Perez-Jones (Morrisville, PA/Pennsbury ) added 11 and Tyerell Mann (East Stroudsburg, PA /Notre Dame - East Stroudsburg ) and Justin Kellman (Reading, PA /Reading ) each had 9. 

Jordan Little paced Brookdale with 16, as the Jersey Blues improved to 6-1 overall and 5-1 in Region XIX. 

Northampton, now 5-5 overall, will host Harrisburg Area Community College on Tuesday night at 8pm.
