Box Score LINCROFT, NJ - Northampton jumped out to a 12-2 lead and never looked back in downing Brookdale Community College 67-52 in women's basketball on Saturday afternoon at Collins Arena.

Katie Alvarez (Allentown, PA /Dieruff) scored a season-high 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Dom Moser (Easton, PA/Easton ) added 19 points and 5 steals as the Spartans won their 6th straight game.  "I though our defense was the key today," commented Head Coach Tara Belfield, "we got a little rattled against their press in the third quarter, but once we settled down we were able to gain our composure and play our game ... and when our offense has struggled, we have been able to rely on our defense."

The Spartans will look to win their 7th straight game when they host Harrisburg Area Community College on Tuesday at 6pm.
