BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Ocean County College, which trailed by 18 in the first half, outscored Northampton 57-38 in the second half to earn a 100-90 victory on Saturday at the Arthur L. Scott Center.

Mike Golden scored 41 points, including 8 three-pointers, as Ocean battled back from a 9-point halftime deficit, connecting on 9 of 12 three-point attempts as a team in the second stanza.  "We ran into a hot player today," commented Head Coach Brennan McCarthy, "Golden shot the heck out of the ball, and we just didn't make the stops we needed to make to take back control of the game."

Isiah Hinton-Gray (Allentown, PA/William Allen ) had a big day for Northampton, scoring 24 points and grabbing 14 rebounds, while Tyerell Mann (East Stroudsburg, PA /Notre Dame - East Stroudsburg ) added 19 points.  Edwin Lopez (East Stroudsburg, PA /Stroudsburg ) hit the double-digit mark in assists for the second straight game, handing out 10.  Justin Kusiappouh (East Stroudsburg, PA /East Stroudsburg North ) justed missed a double-double, finishing with 10 points and 9 rebounds. 

Northampton falls to 9-8 overall and 7-5 in Region XIX, while Ocean improves to 11-7 overall and 11-4 in Region XIX. 

The Spartans return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Nanticoke, PA to face EPAC rival Luzerne County Community College at 8pm.
