Box Score HARRISBURG, Pa. - The Northampton women's basketball team won their second consecutive game, downing Harrisburg Area Community College, 71-56, on Tuesday evening at the Cleveland Center. 

Taylor Turrentine (Bushkill, PA/East Stroudsburg North ) led four Spartans in double figures with 18, while Katie Alvarez (Allentown, PA /Dieruff) recorded a double-double with 15 points and 18 rebounds. Tytiona Goodwin (Allentown, PA/Dieruff ) had 11 points and Kaitlyn Cappetta (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) added 10 to pace the Spartan offense. "We had a good team game tonight," remarked Head Coach Tara Belfield, "offensively we took care of the ball and did a great job on the boards ... defensively we still have some room to improve, but overall a good road win."

The win moves Northampton to 12-4 overall, while Harrisburg falls to 9-10. 

The Spartans are back in action on Thursday night when they travel to Nanticoke, PA to face Luzerne County Community College at 7pm.
