BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's basketball team dropped a non-conference match-up vs. Rowan College @ Burlington County 71-41 on Tuesday evening at the Arthur L. Scott Center. 

The NJCAA Division II Barons outscored Northampton 22-8 in the second quarter to take a 34-20 into the locker room at halftime and never looked back in earning their first victory over the season. 

"I thought we battled in the first quarter," commented Head Coach Alyssa Bonenberger, "but we were a different team after that ... we just didn't compete.  Turnovers were obviously an issue for us, but I'm more concerned with our lack of focus."

Nicole Robinson (Bangor, Pa./Bangor ) led the Spartans with 17 points, while Dom Moser (Easton, Pa./Easton ) added 12 points and a team-high 12 rebounds. 

The Spartans, now 1-2 overall, travel to Lackawanna College on Thursday to face the Division II Falcons, with game time set for 5pm.
