SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. - Northampton sophomore guard Jerrel Burke (Morrisville, PA/Pennsbury ) has been named the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) Player of the Year, in voting conducted by the conference coaches. 

Burke, who is averaging 20.8 points per game, led the Spartans to the 2016-17 EPAC Championship with a record of 15-3 and a #3 seed in the Region XIX Tournament with an overall mark of 18-8.  

Burke leads Northampton in scoring, is second on the team in assists at 3.8 per game, second in steals at 1.2 and averages 3.3 rebounds per game. 

The Spartans host 6th seeded Ocean County College on Tuesdsay February 28th at 7pm in the Region XIX Quarterfinals.
