MYRTLE BEACH, SC - One inning of offense is all it took for the Northampton Baseball team to dispatch Mohawk Valley Community College, as the Spartans scored 6 runs in the 5th inning, to down the Hawks 6-1 on Thursday morning. 

Franklin Ramirez (Reading, PA/Berks Catholic) was 1 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI, while Colton Hooker (Warrington, PA/Upper Moreland) and Brett Marks (Cooper City, FL/Cooper City (FL)) were each 1 for 3, as the Spartans only had 3 hits in the victory.  Tyler Forbes (Athens, PA/Athens) earned the victory, throwing 5 innings, allowing no runs on 1 hit while striking out 9. Brendon Caraway (Riegelsville, PA/Palisades) and Colton Langworthy (Alpha, NJ/Phillipsburg (NJ)) each pitched one inning in relief, allowing one run on one hit. 

The Spartans finish their spring trip with a record of 6-1.  Northampton is now off until March 21st when they are scheduled to travel to Camden County College.
