LINCROFT, NJ - The 3rd seeded Northampton men's basketball team will face 2nd seeded Brookdale Community College in the Region XIX semi-finals on Saturday evening at 7:30pm at Collins Arena. 

Northampton, 19-8, is in the Final Four for the first time since the 2012-13 season when Kevin Foley guided the Spartans to a 20-9 record and a berth in the Region XIX Championship game.  The Spartans have been on a roll since returning from semester break, going 12-1, including a 95-81 opening round playoff victory over Ocean County College on Tuesday evening. 

This is Northampton's second playoff appearance under third year Head Coach Brennan McCarthy (43-36), who guided the Spartans to the EPAC championship and their first playoff victory since the 2013-14 season.  Sophomore Jerrel Burke (Morrisville, PA/Pennsbury ) was named EPAC Player of the Year and earned First Team All Region Honors. 

The Spartans and Jersey Blues (22-8) met earlier this season, with Brookdale winning 65-57 on December 3rd in Lincroft, NJ. 

Northampton is one victory away from the 700th victory in program history, with an overall record of 699-582 in 48 seasons.
