"We have been a step slow defensively the last few games, especially around the arc," commented Head Coach
Brennan McCarthy, "but credit Philadelphia, they are very talented and made some big shots. We also need to do a better job taking care of the ball, I thought we were a little sloppy tonight and you can't do that against a team of this caliber."
Northampton falls to 17-5 overall, 13-3 in Region XIX and 11-2 in the EPAC.
Philadelphia improves to 19-6 overall, 16-3 in the Region and 14-1 in conference play.
The Spartans will return to action on Thursday when they travel to Montgomery County Community College to face Delaware County Community College at 5:00 pm.
The game was originally scheduled to be played in Philadelphia at CCP, but due to the Eagles' parade, CCP will be closed on Thursday.
