Dom Moser (Easton, Pa./Easton ) scored 50 points and grabbed 19 rebounds to lead the Northampton women's basketball team to an 81-39 victory over the Community College of Philadelphia on Tuesday evening at the Colonial Center.
Moser, who is currently 2nd in the country in scoring, finished 20 of 35 from the field and 8 of 11 from line.Â
Krista Cappetta (Nazareth, Pa/Nazareth) added 22 points and 12 rebounds and
Nicole Robinson (Bangor, Pa./Bangor ) grabbed 15 rebounds and recorded 4 steals for the Spartans.Â

The Spartans finished 33 of 82 from the field (40%), while holding the hosts to 22% shooting from the floor.Â
The victory moves Northampton to 14-6 overall, 10-2 in Region XIX and 9-0 in the EPAC.Â
Philadelphia falls to 2-19 overall, 1-12 in Region XIX and 1-8 in conference play.Â
Moser's 50 point performance was her second of the season and gives her 977 points for her career. Moser will attempt to become the first female and just second player, male or female, in Northampton history to score 1000 points.
Moser wil attempt to break the milestone on Saturday vs Bucks County Community College on
"Dom Moser (Easton, Pa./Easton )" Day as the College honors Moser for breaking the all-time women's basketball scoring record of 908 points previously held by Tiara Aziz (2011-13).Â
