Box Score BLACKWOOD, NJ - The Northampton women's basketball team dropped a Region XIX matchup to Camden County College on Thursday evening, falling 60-50, at the Cougar Center. 

Montana Cassaro (Bangor, PA /Bangor) scored 17 points and recorded 7 steals and Briona McClain (Stroudsburg, PA /Pocono Mt. West ) had 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 steals, but the Cougars forced 22 Spartan turnovers to earn the victory. 

"We did not handle their defensive pressure well," stated Head Coach Alyssa Bonenberger, "too many turnovers at crucial times ... we were never able to make that run to take the lead."

Ashley Robinson (East Stroudsburg, PA /East Stroudsburg South) added 11 points for Northampton. 

The loss drops the Spartans to 5-8 overall and 0-6 in Region XIX.

Camden improves to 4-11 overall and 2-9 in the Region. 

The Spartans return to action on Saturday when they travel to face Delaware County Community College, with the contest set to be played at Williamson Trade.  Tip-off is scheduled for 1pm.
