Box Score SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. - The 11th ranked Northampton men's basketball team won their third consecutive game on Tuesday evening, downing Lehigh Carbon Community College, 86-68, at the Cougar Dome.
Tony James (Harrisburg, PA/Harrisburg ) led three Spartans in double figures with a game-high 28 points, followed by
Michael Jackson (West Lawn, PA/Wilson West Lawn) with 13 and
Ben Sandberg (Willow Street, PA/Lampeter-Strasburg) with 12. James finished 12 of 18 from the field, including 2 of 3 from distance and added 5 assists.Â

Raylil Law-Winton (Pennsbury, PA/Pennsbury) added 9 points for the Spartans, who had 33 field goals, including 10 three-pointers.
James and
Nasir Scott (Philadelphia, PA/Boys Latin of Philadelphia) each had 8 rebounds, while
Brian McKenzie (Lancaster, PA/J.P. McCaskey) dished out a team-high 6 assists.
The victory moves Northampton to 18-2 overall, 14-2 in Region XIX and 10-1 in the EPAC.
Lehigh Carbon falls to 0-12 overall, 0-11 in the Region and 0-11 in conference play.Â
Northampton returns to action on Thursday when they host Middlesex County College (14-8), with tip-off scheduled for 7pm.Â
