Box Score SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. - Ashley Robinson (East Stroudsburg, PA /East Stroudsburg South) scored 15 points and recorded 3 steals to help lead the Northampton women's basketball team to a 50-30 victory over Lehigh Carbon Community College on Tuesday evening at the Cougar Dome. 

The Spartans, who led 24-14 at halftime, outscored the Cougars 26-16 in the second half limiting LCCC to just two field goals in the third quarter. 

"We did a good job tonight on the defensive end," remarked Head Coach Alyssa Bonenberger, "we were able to get our hands on some passes and disrupt their offense."

Briona McClain (Stroudsburg, PA /Pocono Mt. West ) scored 11 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and notched 4 steals, while Briana Petersen (East Stroudsburg, PA /East Stroudsburg North ) finished with 9 points and 10 boards. 

Kelsey Miller (Phillipsburg, NJ/Phillipsburg (NJ)) added 9 points, 3 assists and 3 steals for Northampton. 

Northampton, now 7-8 overall, improves to 15-1 all-time vs. LCCC.

The Cougars fall to 3-5 with the loss. 

The Spartans return home to host Middlesex County College on Thursday evening at 5pm.
