BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's tennis team finished the regular season undefeated, downing RCSJ-Glocuester 6-3 on Saturday afternoon at Northwood Racquet Club to finish 6-0 and clinch the Region 19 regular season title. 

The Spartans took 4 of the 5 singles matches that were contested after winning two highly contested doubles matches to start the day.

1st doubles    Elizabeth Hozza (Northampton, PA/Northampton )/Emilee Brewer (Bangor, PA/Bangor) (N) defeated Daisy Marrero/Aurora Ryan (R); 9-7
2nd doubles   Hanna Nicholls (Bethlehem, PA/Freedom)/Morgan Putvinski (Mt. Bethel, PA/Bangor) (N) defeated Irene Tantaros/Gianna Fasulo (R);  8-8, 7-5 tie breaker
3rd doubles    RCSJ-Gloucester wins via forfeit

Elizabeth Hozza (Northampton, PA/Northampton ) finishes the regular season undefeated at #1 singles, while Hanna Nicholls (Bethlehem, PA/Freedom) and Morgan Putvinski (Mt. Bethel, PA/Bangor) each finish undefeated in both singles and doubles competition.

Seeding for the Region 19 Tournament will take place on Wednesday, while the Tournament will open on Friday 15th at RCSJ-Gloucester.
