BETHLEHEM, Pa. -
Joey Galantini (Allentown, PA/Salisbury) hit a 3-run walk-off homerun in Game Two to help lead Northampton to a sweep of Middlesex College on Saturday in Region 19 baseball action. The Spartans won Game One 4-1 and took the nightcap 7-6.
GAME ONE - Won 4-1
Evan Zwolenik (Northampton, PA/Northampton) threw a complete game 2-hitter in game one, allowing no earned runs, striking out 5 and walking none, to earn the victory, as Northampton downed Middlesex 4-1.
Joey Galantini (Allentown, PA/Salisbury) finished 2 for 4 with 1 RBI,
Collin Jensen (Garnet Valley, PA/Archmere Academy (DE)) was 2 for 3 with a RBI and
Marcus Nales (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) was 2 for 2 with a RBI and run scored to lead Northampton.

Adrian Yaguez, "Evan has been very solid for us on the mound this year ... he had a very efficient outing today."
GAME TWO - Won 7-6
Game two added a little drama to the afternoon, as the Spartans trailed 6-4 entering the bottom of the 7th inning.
Jacob Yurkovitch (Pen Argyl, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond) singled to open the inning and
Adam Finkbiner (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth) walked to give the Spartans runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs.
Joey Galantini (Allentown, PA/Salisbury) then deposited a pitch from Thomas Gamba over the left field fence for a 3-run walk-off homer to give Northampton the thrilling 7-6 win.

Galantini finished 3 for 4 with 3 RBI,
Jordan King (York, PA/Central York) was 2 for 3 with a RBI and
Isaiah Lockette (Steelton, PA/Steelton-Highspire) was 2 for 3 with a RBI.
The Spartans had opened the game with 3 runs in the bottom of the 1st, highlighted by a RBI single from Lockette, driving in King who had doubled.
Jordan Livingston (Stroudsburg, PA/Stroudsburg) earned the victory with 1.1 innings of work in relief of starter
Keegan Rude (Sayre, PA/Athens Area). Livingston allowed 1 run on 2 hits, striking out 2 and walking 2. Rude allowed 5 runs (3 earned) on 5 hits, striking out 5 and walking 3.
Northampton, winners of 7 straight, move to 7-3 overall, while Middlesex falls to 4-16.
The Spartans return to action on Sunday when they host Delaware County Community College in a doubleheader. First pitch is set for 12pm.
