Box Score BLUE BELL, Pa. - The Northampton women's basketball team won their second consecutive game on Thursday evening, downing Montgomery County Community College, 72-40, at the Health Sciences Center. 

Alayna Day (Reading, PA/Muhlenberg) scored 15 points and Briona McClain (Tobyhanna, PA/Pocono Mt. West ) added 18 points and grabbed 8 rebounds to lead the Spartans. 

"We got a huge lift from our bench tonight," remarked Head Coach Terrence Bomar, "we shot the ball well and executed our sets."

The win moves Northampton to 10-5 overall, while Montgomery falls to 4-12. 

The Spartans are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Sussex County Community College to face the Skylanders at 12pm.
