DOVER, De. - The Northampton women's volleyball team, which received votes in the latest NJCAA national poll, won their 13th consecutive match on Thursday evening, downing Del Tech 25-21, 25-22, 25-14. 

Jordan Appleton (Langhorne, PA/Notre Dame Green Pond) recorded 14 kills, 24 digs and 1 service ace, while Ayana Bomani (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) notched 11 kills, 18 digs, 5 solo blocks and 9 block assists.

"We continue to press forward toward our goals," remarked Head Coach Rachael Caywood, "we have a big weekend coming up, so we need to continue to stay focused and finish the regular season strong."

Alexandra Bosco (Hellertown, PA/Saucon Valley) added 29 assists, 3 service aces, 2 kills and 2 solo blocks for Northampton.

The Spartans improve to 13-1 with the win, while Del Tech falls to 8-8. .

Northampton travels to RCSJ-Gloucester on Saturday to face the Roadrunners and Bergen Community College in a Region 19 tri-match.
