BETHLEHEM, PA. - 90 minutes was not enough on Saturday, as Northampton and Bucks County Community College had to go to overtime, before the Spartans pulled out the 2-0 victory
The former EPAC foes battled to a scoreless deadlock for the first 35 minutes before Bucks took advantage of a defensive slip and were able to beat Spartan goaltender
Drake Brackett (West Easton, PA/Wilson) for a 1-0 lead.

Matthew Bayda (Bethlehem, PA/Nazareth), who moved up from center back, found the back of the net, assisted by
Christian Reyes (Allentown, PA/Dieruff), to the tie the contest at 1-1.
Despite a number of scoring opportunities in the second half, the Spartans could not cash in for the game winner in regulation.
In overtime,
Nicholas McCoy (Bangor, PA/Bangor) played a ball across the box and
Gabe Lawler (Bangor, PA/Bangor) was able to head it in the net for the game winner, just two minutes into the extra stanza.
Brackett was credited with 6 saves in the victory.
The win moves Northampton to 10-2-1 overall, while USCAA member Bucks County falls to 5-6-0.
Northampton returns to action on Monday when they host Ocean County College at 4pm in their final regular season match of the season.
