LARGO, MD - The 13th ranked Northampton men's basketball team dropped their first contest of the year, falling 76-72, to Prince George's Community College on Saturday at Novak Field House.
Both teams shot under 40% from the field for the game, but Northampton's struggles at the charity stripe, led to them being outscored by 10 points, as they only converted 19 of 37 free throws. Â
Titus Wilkins (Easton, PA/Executive Education Academy Charter) led the Spartans with 20 points, while
Tyrese Fuller (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin) added 10 points and 13 rebounds.Â
The loss drops Northampton to 2-1 overall, while PGCC improves to 1-0 with the win.Â
The Spartans are now off until November 10th when they host NJCAA Division II County College of Morris at 7pm.Â
