BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton women's volleyball team won their 3rd consecutive match, sweeping NJCAA Division II Harcum College, 25-13, 25-16, 25-14, on Thursday evening at the Arthur L. Scott Center.
Jordan Appleton (Langhorne, PA/Notre Dame Green Pond) recorded 10 kills, 12 digs, 1 block and 4 assists,
Ayana Bomani (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) had 7 kills, 18 digs and 2 blocks,
Emerald Walker (Mansfield, PA/North Penn Mansfield ) registered 7 kills and
Meghan Speshok (Easton, PA/Easton) added 23 assists and 6 digs to lead the Spartans.
"This was a good win for us tonight over a solid team," remarked Head Coach
Rachael Caywood, "now we need to focus on preparing for Lackawanna this weekend."
The win moves Northampton to 3-1 overall and 3-1 in the EPAC.
The Spartans travel to Scranton on Saturday to face the Lackawanna Falcons, with the starting time set for 11:00am
