SCRANTON, Pa. - The Northampton women's volleyball team improved to 4-0 overall with a 25-13, 25-22, 25-17 sweep of Lackawanna College on Thursday evening at the Falcon Student Activities Center.

Kailen Felty (Pine Grove, PA/Pine Grove) led the Spartans with 9 kills and added 4 service aces, 19 digs and 7 blocks, while Leana Angelone (Coopersburg, PA/Faith Christian Academy) notched 26 assists, 11 digs and 4 service aces. 

Sophomores Ayana Bomani (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) and Joy Wetzel (Bath, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) combined for 14 kills, with Bomani adding 15 digs and 7 blocks.

Mackenzie Davis (Warsaw, VA/Rappahannock (VA)) had 20 digs as the Spartans recorded their second consecutive sweep over a NJCAA Division II opponent. 

The win moves Northampton to 4-0 overall, while Lackawanna falls to 5-5. 

The Spartans return home to the Arthur L. Scott Center on Saturday to face Division II Delaware Technical College at 12pm.
