DOVER, DE - The Northampton women's volleyball team stayed hot, winning their 4th consecutive match, sweeping NJCAA Division II Delaware Tech 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-21) on Saturday afternoon.
Kailen Felty (Pine Grove, PA/Pine Grove) recorded 10 kills, 25 digs and 3 service aces,
Lexi Womack (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley) had 9 kills and 16 digs and
Alyssa Eilenberger (Saylorsburg, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond) added 7 kills and 6 blocks.
"I'm really excited with how we are playing right now," commented Head Coach
Rachael Aquila, "we have really come out strong the last couple matches and we will need to continue that on Monday."
Mackenzie Davis (Warsaw, VA/Rappahannock (VA)) registered 16 digs and
Leana Angelone (Coopersburg, PA/Faith Christian Academy) notched 33 assists.
The Spartans are now 15-6 overall, while Del Tech falls to 11-8.
Northampton ends the regular season with a trip to Lehigh Carbon on Monday evening for a 6pm match.
