NANTICOKE, Pa. - The 13th ranked Northampton men's basketball team picked up their 7th win of the season on Saturday, downing the Trailblazers of Luzerne County Community College, 105-60, at the James Atherton Arena. 

The Spartans, who led 47-33 at halftime, outscored their hosts 58-27 in the second 20 minutes to earn the 45 point victory.

13 of the 15 Spartans in uniform scored at least 2 points, led by Ameer Herran (Phillipsburg, NJ/Phillipsburg (NJ)) who finished with 22.  Nasir Ruhani (Brooklyn, NY/Eagle Academy (NY)) 16, Nate Rivera (Bethlehem, PA/LIberty) 11 and Jaden Tillet (Bethlehem, PA/Freedom) 10, joined Herran in double figures. 

Ruhani and Abdul Jackson (Pottstown, PA/Pottstown) each dished out 4 assists. 

"Good effort today, we shot the ball well and used our depth to our advantage," stated Head Coach Brennan McCarthy, "it's not an easy place to play, so I'm happy to come here and get the win."

Northampton improves to 7-0 overall and 4-0 in Region 19. 

Luzerne falls to 1-4 overall and 1-3 in the Region.

The Spartans continue their road trip with a visit to Delaware County College on Tuesday November 26th.  The game will be played at
