EDISON, NJ - The Northampton men's volleyball team remained undefeated with a 3-0 (25-23, 25-16, 25-16) victory over Middlesex College on Friday evening at the Middlesex Athletic Center.
Alex Schoenen (Northampton, PA/Northampton) notched 10 kills and 6 digs,
Mamadou Dieng (Conackry, Guinea/Lycee Alberts Camus) had 8 kills,
John Nice (Feasterville, PA/Neshaminy) was credited with 8 kills, 10 digs and 4 service aces and
Ramon Romero (San Pedro Sula, Hondurus/Liceo Billingue (HN)) recorded 13 digs, 7 kills and 5 aces to pace the Spartans.

Rachael Aquila, "we got pushed in the 1st set and I think that helped get our focus back on our fundamentals and play our style of volleyball in the 2nd and 3rd sets."
Northampton improves to 5-0 overall and 5-0 in Region 19 with the victory.
Middlesex falls to 5-3 overall and 2-3 in Region play.
The Spartans are now off until Saturday March 9th when they head to Toms River, NJ to compete in Region 19 tri-match vs. Brookdale and Ocean.
