BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Northampton men's volleyball team clinched the top seed for the upcoming Region 19 playoffs with a 25-21, 25-22, 25-20 victory over Union County College on Monday evening at the Arthur L. Scott Center.
Alex Schoenen (Northampton, PA/Northampton) recorded 13 kills, 12 digs, and 6 block assists, while John Nice added 10 kills and 20 digs.

Rachael Aquila, "earning that top seed was one of their goals this season, but we still have more goals to achieve."
Zach Franges (Bethlehem, PA/Freedom) notched 32 assists and
Matteo Mowrey (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) registered 17 digs for Northampton.
The Spartans finish the regular season at 13-1 overall and 13-1 in Region 19.
Union falls to 17-14 overall and 7-6 in the Region.
The top-seeded Spartans will host #4 Union at 6pm on Wednesday in the Region 19 semi-finals. The winner will advance to the Region 19 championship on Saturday March 30th.
