BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The 8th ranked Northampton softball team has earned the #4 seed for the upcoming Region 19 playoffs and will host RCSJ-Cumberland in the first round beginning on Tuesday. 

The Spartans, 18-12 overall and 10-4 in Region 19, will host the 5th seeded Dukes in a best-of-three series scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday in Bethlehem.  The two teams will play a doubleheader on Tuesday, beginning at 3pm, and if necessary, will play the deciding 3rd game on Wednesday at 3:30pm. 

Northampton and Cumberland (10-20 overall / 8-8 Region 19) met on April 23rd in Vineland, NJ with the Spartans sweeping the doubleheader 9-4 and 20-4. 

The winner will advance to the Region 19 Final Four in Sewell, NJ on May 11/12.  The Final Four is a double-elimination tournament, with the winner securing a bid to the NJCAA Division III World Series in Tennessee.
