BETHLEHEM, Pa - The undefeated Northampton Women's Volleyball team cruised to their 16th straight win with a 25-11, 25-12, 25-10 sweep over Delaware County Community College on Wednesday evening at the Arthur L.Scott Center.
Sophomore Outside Hitter
Lexi Womack (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley) continued to lead the offense for the Spartans with 11 kills, 3 service aces and 8 digs while Freshman Middle Hitter
Sophia Tyma (Bethlehem, PA/Lehigh Valley Academy) chipped in with 5 kills and 3 blocks. Sophomore Right Side
Alyssa Eilenberger (Saylorsburg, PA/Notre Dame - Green Pond) added 4 kills and 2 service aces while Setter
Samantha Nagy (Easton, PA/Easton) collected 30 assists and 5 aces.
Gianna Sciarra (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) continues to patrol the back row with 18 digs and 3 service aces.

The Spartans, ranked #8 in the NJCAA national poll for the 4th consecutive week, improve to 16-0 overall with the victory.
The Phantoms fall to 1-6 overall with the loss.
Northampton is back on the floor on Saturday, October 4th when they travel to Paramus, NJ for a tri-match with host Bergen Community College and Atlantic Cape Community College. The Spartans are scheduled to take on Atlantic Cape at 2pm and Bergen at 4pm.
