BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Ocean County College men's soccer team, ranked 10th in the NJCAA national poll, scored 4 first half goals in a span of 8 minutes and cruised to a 9-0 win over the Spartans on Tuesday afternoon at Spartan Field.
The Vikings opened their scoring attack at the 11 minute mark and never looked back, quickly following with goals at the 12, 15 and 19 minute marks for a 4-0 lead. Ocean added three more scores to close out the first half with a commanding 7-0 lead. The Spartans, unable to generate any offense, surrendered two more second half goals for the tough luck 9-0 loss.
"Tough way to lose,"explained Spartans Head Coach 
Mario Barrantes, "This is one of those games that you just need to put behind you and simply get ready for the next one."
The Spartans fall to 2-10-2 overall and 2-10-2 in Region 19 with the loss.
The Vikings improve to 10-1-2 overall and 10-1-2 in the Region with the victory.
The Spartans will close out the 2025 campaign on the road on Saturday when the travel to Vineland, NJ to take on RCSJ-Cumberland at the Dukes Soccer Complex at 12pm.
