HARRISBURG, Pa. - The 7th ranked Northampton women's volleyball team bounced back from their first loss of the season on Monday, topping Harrisburg Area Community College 3-0 (25-14, 25-11, 25-17) on Wednesday evening at the JW Evans PE Center.
Sophomore
Lexi Womack (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley) continued her outstanding play this season, leading the offense with 12 kills, 1 service ace, 12 digs and 1 block. Freshman Middle Hitter
Sophia Tyma (Bethlehem, PA/Lehigh Valley Academy) chipped in with 7 kills, 2 digs and 2 blocks and Right Side
Zoe Velez (Landville, PA/Warwick) collected 5 kills, 2 aces, 1 assist, 4 digs and a solo block for a strong effort. Setter
Samantha Nagy (Easton, PA/Easton) had 24 assists and 4 digs and Libero
Gianna Sciarra (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) recorded 19 digs and a pair of service aces.

Rachael Aquila, "I was curious how we would respond coming off the loss on Monday, but I felt like we got right back on track from the start and didn't let up."
The Spartans improve to 19-1 overall and 10-0 in Region 19.
The Hawks slip to 6-9 overall and 6-3 in the Region.
The Spartans are back in action on Saturday, October 11th when they host Montgomery County Community College and Ocean County College in their
Dig Pink tri-match at the Arthur L. Scott Center.
