RANDOLPH, NJ - The 15th ranked Northampton men's basketball team dropped a non-conference matchup on Thursday evening, falling to NJCAA Division II Morris, 97-78, at Jack Martin Arena.
The Titans outscored Northampton 54 to 3 from behind the arc, connecting on 18 3-pointers. "Really good test for us, Morris is well-coached and really shot the ball well tonight," remarked Head Coach
Brennan McCarthy.
Nasir Ruhani (Brooklyn, NY/Eagle Academy (NY)) led the Spartans with 22 points, while
Ameer Herran (Phillipsburg, NJ/Phillipsburg (NJ)) added 15.
The Spartans fall to 21-5 overall, while Morris improves to 11-14.
Northampton continues their roadtrip on Saturday, as they travel to Union County College to face the 7th ranked Owls.
