RANDOLPH, NJ - The Northampton women's basketball team has earned the #5 seed for the upcoming Region 19 playoffs and will travel to 4th seeded Brookdale Community College to face the Jersey Blues on Tuesday February 25th at 6pm.

The Spartans finished the regular season with an overall record of 16-9 and a Region 19 mark of 13-7, under 1st year Head Coach Carly Gallagher. "I'm so proud of these girls and the effort they gave me this season," remarked Gallagher, "we got a late start and our numbers were pretty small to begin with, but this group bought in and I couldn't have asked for any more than what they gave me.  We are looking forward to the postseason, no one wants this to end yet."

Northampton and Brookdale split during the regular season, with the Spartans winning in Lincroft 68-48 in November, and then falling at home in January, 65-58.
