MEDIA, Pa. - The 12th ranked Northampton Baseball team increased their winning streak to 6 games after sweeping Delaware County Community College, 23-1 and 22-7, on Saturday afternoon at Phantom Park. The two victories gave Northampton a 3-0 series win over Delaware, outscoring the Phantoms 66 to 17.
GAME ONE - Won 23-1
JJ Cruz (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) earned the win in game one, allowing 1 run on 4 hits over 5 innings, with 7 strikeouts.
Aaron Clark (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) worked the final 2 innings, striking out 3 and walking 1.
Braden Cummings (Elizabethtown, PA/Elizabethtown) finished 4 for 6 with 3 runs scored and 6 RBI,
Kyle Stoner (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township (NJ)) was 3 for 4 and
Peter Hrousis (Bethlehem, PA/Bethlehem Catholic) went 2 for 2 with 4 RBI.
GAME TWO - Won 22-7
Shane Henrick (Blue Bell, PA/Wissahickon) went on a tear in game two, going 6 for 6 with 3 runs scored and 4 RBI, while
Kyle Stoner (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Township (NJ)) was 4 for 4 with 2 RBI.
Christopher Parrillo (Quakertown, PA/Quakertown) picked up the victory on the mound with 2.1 innings of work, allowing 2 runs on no hits with 5 walks and 3 K's.
Jayson Ehrhart (Pottstown, PA/Springford) threw 2.2 innings, allowing no runs on 1 hit with 5 strikeouts, and
