CHARLOTTE, NC - Sydney Harper (Nazareth, PA/Nazareth), who helped lead the Northampton softball team to a Region 19 runner-up finish this spring, has been named a NJCAA All-American, as announced by the national office. 

Harper, who was a First Team All-Region selection, batted .490 with 49 hits, 3 doubles, 4 triples, 16 walks, 23 RBI and 18 stolen bases. 

The Spartans finished 20-12, falling to RCSJ-Gloucester, 4-3, in the Region 19 championship game.

Harper becomes the 6th Northampton Softball All-American selection in program history.
