BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Sophomore Outside Hitter
Lexi Womack (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley), who was named EPAC Player of the Week for the second time this season earlier in the day, led the #8 Spartans to a 3-0 sweep (25-15, 25-19, 25-15) over the visiting Owls of UCNJ on Monday night in the Arthur L. Scott Center.
Womack collected a game-high 9 kills along with 15 digs and 1 service ace while Freshman Outside Hitter
Kyra Miller (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) chipped in with 8 kills to pace the Spartans attack.
Grace Coppola (Allentown, PA/Central Catholic) contributed 6 kills, 6 digs, 4 blocks and Setter
Samantha Nagy (Easton, PA/Easton) added 35 assists, 3 service aces and 8 digs.
Gianna Sciarra (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty)Â registered 15 digs, 3 assists and 4 aces with her continued strong play in the back row.

Rachael Aquila, "I feel we are starting to get into a groove and I am pleased with our play overall. I saw alot of good energy tonight on the floor and we will continue to keep pushing forward."
Northampton, ranked #8 in the NJCAA national poll for the third consecutive week, improves to a perfect 12-0 overall with the victory.
The Owls of UCNJ fall to 6-4 overall with the loss.
The Spartans are back in action on Wednesday when they host Middlesex College at 6pm at the Arthur L. Scott Center.
