BETHLEHEM, Pa - The Northampton Men's Soccer team suffered an 8-1 setback to Region 19 opponent Brookdale Community College on a rainy and dreary Thursday afternoon at Spartan Field.
The Spartans got on the board in the first half when Freshman Midfielder
Trevor Bartholdi (Chichester, PA/Chichester) scored off a pass from
Amir Rustom (Rihania, Israel/Branko Weiss Anna Frank) at the 17 minute mark for an early 1-0 advantage. The Jersey Blues answered with a pair of quick scores in the 36th and 38th minute to grab the 2-1 halftime lead.
