BETHLEHEM, Pa - The nationally ranked Northampton women's volleyball team picked up their 15th straight win, battling past NJCAA DII Harcum College, 3-1, on Monday evening in front of a spirited crowd at the Arthur L. Scott Center.
The Spartans, who dropped the first set 24-26, took the next three, 25-19, 25-23, 25-13, for the big victory.

Rachael Aquila, "Harcum has a strong front row and we were tested. I thought we made some good adjustments, stuck to our game and eventually got things going in our favor. Credit our kids for staying focused and battling their way to another strong win."
Sophomore Outside Hitter
Lexi Womack (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley) collected 12 kills and 14 digs and Freshman Middle Hitter
Sophia Tyma (Bethlehem, PA/Lehigh Valley Academy) added 8 kills and 10 blocks to lead the Spartans. Right Side
Zoe Velez (Landville, PA/Warwick) contributed 8 kills and 3 blocks while Sophomore Setter
Samantha Nagy (Easton, PA/Easton), who was named EPAC Player of the Week earlier in the afternoon, recorded 33 assists, 17 digs and a pair of service aces. Freshman Libero
Gianna Sciarra (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) controlled the back row with 29 digs while also contributing 6 service aces.
The Spartans improve to 15-0 overall with the win.
The loss drops Harcum College falls to 2-5 overall.
Northampton is back in action on Wednesday, October 1st when they host the Phantoms of Delaware County Community College at the Arthur L. Scott Center at 6pm.
