SCRANTON, Pa. - Four members of the Northampton softball team have earned postseason accolades, led by Erin Goonan (Mechanicsburg, Pa/Mechanicsburg High School) who was named a First Team All-Region selection. 

Goonan finished with a school single-season record 56 RBI, while batting .429 with 13 doubles and 5 homeruns.

Joining Goonan on the All-Region team were Emma Kozy (Emmaus, Pa/Emmaus), Abymarie Colon (Easton, Pa/Wilson High School) and Maria Moore (Fogelsville, Pa/Parkland High School), who were named Second Team honorees.

Kozy led Northampton with a 17-5 record in the circle, throwing 128.1 innings, striking out 117 and only walking 34.  Kozy ended her career as the winningest pitcher in Spartan history with 25 wins and as the all-time strikeout leader with 170 K's. 

Colon, an outstanding defensive outfielder, finished the year batting .326 with 3 homeruns, 26 RBI and 10 doubles. 

Moore was named to the utility position on the Second Team, after batting a team-high .490 with 50 hits, including 9 doubles and 32 RBI. 

The Spartans finished 18-13 overall, falling in the Region 19 semifinals.
