Northampton Director of Athletics Troy Tucker announced the hiring of Nick Haegele as the interim Head Men's and Women's Wrestling Coach for the 2025-26 season on September 3, 2025. "We are thrilled to have Coach Haegele leading our wrestling program," remarked Tucker, "Nick did an outstanding job last year as our assistant and played a vital role in our success during our inaugural season."  Haegele takes over for Shaun Lally, who stepped down in August after one season at the helm. 

A former collegiate wrestler at NCAA Division II Millersville University from 2013 thru 2016, Haegele qualified for the NCAA Super Region I at 149lbs during the 2015-16 season. "I can't wait to get started,' stated Haegele, "wrestling has played such a huge role in my life, I am excited to work with these young men and women and help them become not just better wrestlers, but better people as well."
