Northampton Executive Director of Athletics Troy Tucker has announced the hiring of Ben Master as the new Assistant Director of Athletics - External Operations & Events in August of 2026. Master brings over 20 years of experience in collegiate athletics as both an administrator and coach.   "We are thrilled to welcome Ben to Northampton," remarked Tucker, "his experience and skill set really stood out during the interview process and he brings a great understanding of the NJCAA and Region 19."

Most recently, Master served as the Head Softball Coach and Event Administrator at NCAA Division III New England College in Henniker, NH, where he organized and executed operations for 400+ athletic and community events.  In addition, Master trained, scheduled and supervised a staff of over 100 game day workers to perform event operations including hospitality, security and contest operations. 

A graduate of Towson University, Master also spent time at NCAA Division III Centenary University (NJ) and NJCAA member Sussex County Community College (NJ) as an administrator, overseeing sports information and and compliance.
