SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. - Daniel Pereira scored 2 goals and notched an assist as NCC defeated Lehigh-Carbon, 5-2, on Wednesday afternoon.

Eric Brizuela, Bill Hanson and Joseph Vassallo each recorded a goal and Eric Jimenez registered two assists to pace the Spartan offense.

"It was a good road win," stated Head Coach Erik Daly, "I thought we played well, especially given the fact we are missing two starters, with Missenheim and Isidoro both sidelined due to injuries."

Patrick Szarzynski earned the win in goal, stopping 7 shots.

The Spartans, now 7-3-0 overall, improve to 6-2-0 in conference play, which puts them in a tie for second place with Saturday's opponent Bucks County Community College.  "Saturday has huge playoff implications," echoed Daly, "Bucks got us at their place earlier in the year, it is going to be a battle."

Game time for Saturday's showdown with Bucks County Community College is set for 1:00pm.
