BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The NCC soccer team advanced to the PCAA State Championship game for the second consecutive season with a 3-1 victory over Montgomery County Community College on Saturday.
Seth Dempsey scored his 8th goal of the season,
Julio Isidoro added his 6th and
Eric Jimenez knocked home his 10th as the Spartans took a commanding 3-0 halftime lead.
"I am very proud of these guys," remarked Head Coach Erik Daly, "we have come a long way from opening day at Morris, it is very special for these sophomores to get a chance to play in the title game again ... I know they have been thinking about it all season."
The Spartans, now 13-5-0 overall and winners of six straight, will face 4th seeded Harrisburg Area Community College, who upset #1 seed, and defending champion, Bucks County Community College, 3-2, on Saturday.
The Spartans will host Harrisburg Area Community College on Saturday October 31st for the PCAA State Championship. Game time is yet to be determined.
