BETHLEHEM, PA - Chris Chamberlain picked up his first win of the season, throwing 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief, striking out two and walking none as Northampton rallied to defeat Bergen County Colelge 11-7 in game two of a Region XIX doubleheader.
Greg Kolaronda was 3-for-3 with three doubles and 4 RBI's while Keith Sacarakis also went 3-for-3 with a single, double, and 2-run homerun. Sam Carfi was 2-for-4 with a double, run scored and a stolen base as the Spartans pounded out 13 hits.
In game one, Bergen jumped out to a 8-3 lead after five innings and cruised to a 15-3 victory. Ryan Correll paced NCC with a 3-run triple in the bottom of the first inning.
Northampton improves to 3-6 overall and 2-3 in Region XIX, while Bergen is now 8-8 overall.
The Spartans travel to Camden County College on Wednesday for a 9-inning Regional matchup.
