BETHLEHEM, PA - Freshman Greg Kolaronda was 4-for-6 with four RBI's in the doubleheader, helping Northampton to a 6-4, 6-5 (8 innings) sweep of Ocean County College on Saturday.

Shane Solimani improved to 2-1, tossing 5 1/3 innings, with three strikouts and Brian Del Rosso went 1 2/3 innings with three strikeouts to earn his second save in game one.

Mike Pursell was 2-for-3 with two RBI's as the Spartans put up two runs each in the 2nd, 3rd and 6th innings.

In game two, Keith Sacarakis went 3-for-5 with three RBI's, including the game winning 2-run single with two outs in the bottom of the 8th inning.  

Chris Chamberlain came in to relieve starter Ron Vail and earned the victory.  Kolaronda hit a 2-run single in the bottom of the 7th with two outs to tie the game 4-4 and send it to extra innings.

Northampton, now 5-7 overall and 4-4 in Region XIX, hosts nationally-ranked Brookdale Community College on Sunday at noon.
