Bethlehem, PA - The Alfred State Pioneers swept the Spartans of Northampton Community College, 5-0 and 5-3 on Sunday at Spartan Field, to improve to 10-9 on the season, while the Spartans fall to 1-4.  Brian Del Rosso, Sam Carfi and Shane Solimani each had a single to pace the Spartan attack in game one.  In game two, Rich Pohl had a single and 2 RBI's and Greg Kolaronda laced a double and scored a run as NCC jumped out to a 3-1 lead.  The Pioneers, a division II member of Region III, rebounded to take the lead and earn the victory.  

Northampton travels to Union County College on Thursday in a make-up game, which cancels the previously scheduled tilt at Lackawanna Junior College.
