NEWTOWN, Pa. - The defending EPCC champions, Bucks County Community College, built a 3-0 lead and then held on to defeat Northampton, 3-2, on Saturday.

Julio Isidoro and Eric Jimenez each scored for the Spartans, while Joe Vassallo added an assist.  

Patrick Szarzynski recorded 9 saves for Northampton, which fell to 1-2 overall and 1-1 in the EPCC.

The Spartans travel to USMAPS on Monday for a 4pm game.
